Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Landscape Technician to join our team. As a Landscape Technician, you will be responsible for maintaining and enhancing outdoor spaces for residential and commercial properties. This is a hands-on role that requires a strong work ethic and a passion for creating beautiful landscapes.
Responsibilities:
- Perform various landscaping tasks, including digging, planting, and maintaining gardens
- Provide lawn care services such as mowing, edging, and fertilizing
- Assist with snow plowing and ice removal during winter months
- Install and maintain irrigation systems to ensure proper watering of plants
- Operate power tools and hand tools safely and efficiently
- Perform tree care tasks such as pruning, trimming, and removal
- Maintain and repair landscape structures, including fences, pathways, and retaining walls
- Collaborate with team members to complete projects on time and to client specifications
Experience:
- Previous experience in landscaping or related field preferred
- Knowledge of landscape maintenance techniques and best practices
- Familiarity with operating power tools and hand tools
- Ability to diagnose and resolve common landscape issues
- Basic mechanical knowledge for equipment maintenance
